According to new data, at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, 43% of Australasian organisations were not prepared for remote work. Over the course of the pandemic, 72% added two or more new data sources, but only 36% did either somewhat well or very well when managing the information from these new data sources.

It’s no secret the pandemic has transformed all aspects ofthe working world, and the data suggests the records and information management industry has had to play catch up.

That’s why we partnered with Records and Information Management Practitioners Alliance (RIMPA) to survey its members and find the answers.

The results: the Pulse of the Industry Report 2022. The first of its kind in Australasia, this report provides hard data on what records and information management professionals are struggling with.

Nearly 50% of respondents believe they were doing a good job of managing structured data, but this is clearly in conflict with an earlier statement that, 75% of respondents have no tools or process for managing structured data across line of business systems.​
