Press Release: RecordPoint a “Cool Vendor” in Gartner Content Services 2018 Report

Application leaders supporting records management programs as well as legal and compliance professionals in regulated industries, need federated, in-place records management and information governance across both cloud and on-premises content repositories.

Seattle, WA, USA – Tuesday, May 8th, RecordPoint announces its place as one of 4 “Cool Vendors” from Gartner’s Content Services 2018 report. The Cool Vendor report is designed to highlight interesting, new, and innovative vendors, products, and services.

As organizations evolve to meet changing standards in how content is managed and used, companies like RecordPoint are meeting the need with refined user experiences and features that extend the content services landscape.

Gartner has acknowledged RecordPoint’s leadership in the content services industry highlighting:

  • Federated in place Records Management with Records365 vNext. Records365 allows for seamless, federated, in-place records management and information governance across both cloud and on-premises content repositories. The connector gallery provides point-and-click setup to commonly used repositories such as Box, Google Drive, SharePoint Online and Salesforce, as well as on-premises file shares. vNext also provides modern REST APIs, WebHooks and SDKs to develop custom connectors as needed.
  • vNext monitors each repository and applies blanket governance to ensure stale content is disposed of in a timely manner. It uses analytics and machine learning to selectively autotag content with records policy that must meet deeper compliance needs, such as GDPR, 21CFR11 and Sarbanes-Oxley.
  • Modern user experience can make it easy for both technology and business employees to pick up and use the product. Its visual rules builder tool provides a simplified method for creating and applying records policies regardless of where the content lives.
  • Connected repositories are exposed through a centralized dashboard, which provides visibility of the health of the records management program. The dashboard displays the top records categories used and provides an advanced search that utilizes the native metadata fields of the content sources directly, allowing for federated search across the different records repositories.”

“We are thrilled to be selected as a 2018 Cool Vendor in Content Services and consider this another confirmation that RecordPoint is a leader in the federated content and information management industry,” said Elon Aizenstros, CEO of RecordPoint. “We’re excited for being acknowledged as a trusted technology poised to change the content services space and are continuing to provide real-world solutions to the content and information management challenges that every company faces.”

Overall, RecordPoint makes connecting with other repositories simple and seamless. Modern and intuitive dashboards heighten the user experience, making Records365 vNext easy to use. RecordPoint’s ability to manage all stages of the information life cycle – on both cloud and on-premises content repositories – makes us the trusted vendor you need to manage your data.

Easy. Trusted. Modern. That’s the RecordPoint way.
